Jump into the fray of glorious robot combat in Megamorph, 2023s most highly anticipated bullet-hell, action, (f)roguelike game. Blast through round after round of enemies, enhancing Croaker, your loyal amphibian hero with a multitude of biological mutations that will enhance his abilities.
Megamorph won two of four available awards as voted on by a panel of MSU professors and alumni, Most Fun and Best Aesthetics.

For this project I acted as both a systems and play designer. I create and balanced the game's 60+ mutation upgrades, assuring a variety of playstyles were supported with interesting and dynamic payoffs.
Each upgrade selected would add new upgrades to the available pool and some would even remove others from the pool, assuring a lot of replayability in the hopes of discovering new combinations of abilities.
I kept meticulous design documentation in Google Docs in order to keep track of the game's many upgrades and which of the player's abilities the uprade would effect.
The document was intergral in communication between design and programming for this project, making clear what variables I would need to be public facing during play design.
